This course explores differences and effective approaches when considering individualistic versus collectivistic cultural lenses for work with clients. The course explores biblical Christian narratives and ways those can be conceptualized and enriched using this multicultural framework. Concepts of Shame and Guilt and honor and innocence are explored within cultural contexts. Trainings are not pre-approved for continuing education credit unless explicitly stated. This training may be eligible for 1.0 hours of continuing education in multicultural issues and ethics in counseling. Participants are responsible for verifying acceptance with their licensing board or credentialing body.
